The cooking: a never-disappeared taste
Even the food is here a discovery. From the fruits of our mountain earth – the same over the centuries – excellent delicacies are prepared in the kitchen of the Hotel Capracotta. In the “Alto Molise” these tastes never disappeared and our chefs know that well: they also come from this region where they could have in their mothers’ kitchen their very first cooking-lessons. The ingredients come from a healthy earth where, for instance, the culture of an eco-compatible breeding never ended. Our cows graze freely in the open air and they only stay in the shed during the winter. Milk, cheese, pulses and meat are the plain and wholesome ingredients of our cooking. They belong to a very rich tradition of flavours and smells that today is carried on by professional people who want to preserve one of the most precious goods of this area: the genuineness.

 
 

“Il Ginepro”: the restaurant
“Il Ginepro” is our restaurant consisting of several rooms furnished in a simple mountain style, with a fireplace-corner. The restaurant is warm, comfortable and with all mod cons: it’s provided with autonomous toilets, telephone, terrace and solarium and the banqueting-hall can hold 300 guests. This is the right place to feel privileged guests and to enjoy our best dishes.

Gluten-free food can also be prepared in our restaurant.
